Industrial Data & AI Technical Lead


Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the

AI strategy

, ensuring alignment with Capgemini's global vision and client priorities.


Architect and oversee the design, training, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models across multiple domains (Industrial AI, NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, Predictive Analytics).


Work with

cross-functional engineering, data, and product teams

to embed AI into digital engineering solutions, platforms, and services.


Engage directly with clients, translating business challenges into AI-driven solutions that deliver tangible outcomes.


Lead a team of AI engineers, data scientists, and researchers; mentor talent and foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, and delivery excellence.


Ensure

ethical AI practices

, data governance, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.


Stay ahead of AI trends, emerging technologies, and research advancements to shape Capgemini's offerings and thought leadership.


Your Profile
10+ years of experience in data science / AI / machine learning, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or architect role.


Proven track record of designing and deploying

AI solutions at scale

(industrial, enterprise, or consumer).


Strong knowledge of AI/ML techniques (deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, anomaly detection, time-series forecasting).


Experience with leading AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).


Ability to engage with

business stakeholders and C-level executives

in a consultative, value-focused manner.


Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing technical teams.


Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MSc/PhD) a plus.
