Job Description

The Director - Data & AI will lead the strategic vision and execution of data and artificial intelligence initiatives, driving innovation in healthcare technology solutions. This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in data architecture, AI/ML frameworks, and healthcare interoperability standards to align technology strategies with organizational goals. The Director will oversee cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with industry regulations to deliver transformative healthcare solutions in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Data & AI strategy aligned with organizational objectives and healthcare industry trends.
• Lead the design and deployment of scalable data architectures using Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Cosmos DB.
• Oversee the development and integration of AI/ML models to enhance healthcare solutions, such as predictive analytics and clinical decision support systems.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7, HIPAA) and security protocols (OWASP, OAuth2).
• Collaborate with technical leads, integration teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks to ensure data integrity.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging AI technologies, including generative AI and natural language processing, for healthcare applications.
• Mentor and guide teams in adopting best practices for data engineering, AI development, and DevOps processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Data & AI strategies, architectures, and implementations.
• Drive innovation by fostering partnerships with technology vendors and research institutions.
