Job Description
A leading well known Florist company looking for Incharge \xe2\x80\x93 Greenhouse Production and Maintenance. Should have good experience in Greenhouse or Shade house Production and Maintenance. Knowledge in Irrigation is an added advantage. Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and executing shade house or greenhouse activities by work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of the subordinate employees as per the set priorities by management.
- Maintenance of the shade house or greenhouse structure, including irrigation systems, machinery, farm roads, fire breaks, and waste management facilities on the farm.
- Ensuring cost savings in all possible areas of operation by means of mechanization and showing the best method of operation so as to improve the efficiency of the workers.
- Identifying the appropriate and cost-effective plant protection chemicals and fertilizers for the crops and sourcing them.
- Keeping records of all day-to-day activities at the shade house.
- Knowledge of understanding of correct horticultural practices and experience in all aspects of routine farm maintenance.
- Knowledge in planting, weed identification and control, cultural requirements of herbaceous and florist plants.
- Knowledge in different kind of florist, solid plant identification as well as some experience with greenhouse growing and propagation.
- Knowledge of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) desired.
- Knowledge with all horticultural tools and machinery is essential.
- Ability to maintain stability under pressure and able to deal well with stressful situations.
- Uses appropriate horticultural techniques and has an understanding of plant cultural requirements.
- Practices integrated pest management when dealing with plant disease, nutrition, and insect problems.
- Any : Associate\'s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Greenhouse or Shade House Production and Maintenance.
- Skills: Good Communication skills.

- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
- Irrigation or Greenhouse production: 2 years (Required)
