What You Will Do: Structure, draft, review, and negotiate strategic commercial agreements (e.g., customer, distribution, supply, and procurement contracts). Draft, review, revise and maintain standard agreement templates.
Act as a business counselor and strategic advisor to regional leadership teams within the IMEA region on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters. Manage disputes and litigation to achieve practical and cost-effective results.
Assist as needed on acquisitions, particularly the due diligence and integration process.
Advise on legal risk and ethical compliance in IMEA, including compliance with the anti-corruption laws, Code of Conduct, etc.
Identify and recommend options to proactively address issues and risks and support related investigations.
Manage and evaluate outside counsel including related expenses to ensure value is provided on a cost-effective basis. Control and update legal and corporate documentation. Coordinate with the Head of Legal IMEA as well as with U.S.-based divisional counsels to enable divisional objectives and commercial practices within the IMEA region.
Performs other duties in the field of law as assigned. Position Details: Candidate must be successful in a globally acting, multinational, multifunctional, and multidivisional environment.

Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of regional experience in corporate and commercial law experience working as a lawyer / legal counsel in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house with a multinational corporation preferably in the manufacturing sector. Significant experience in structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex commercial transactions and legal documentation in English, Arabic, and French is a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of corporate laws and procedures. Experience in advising on compliance matters including anti-corruption. Business and financial acumen.
Ability to command the respect of, and communicate effectively with, a diverse range of business leaders and legal partners across and outside the IMEA region.
Ability to direct and manage outside counsel to achieve cost-efficient results.
Dispute resolution experience is desirable but not required.
Arabic and English business-level fluency and drafting skills required. Fluency in French is highly desirable but not an absolute prerequisite.
