Legal Counsel
Job Description
What we are looking for: We are currently looking for a legal counsel with 2+ years post qualification experience at a reputable law firm or company. The candidate will take lead on incoming matters and will help in managing the work and team in the UAE. The candidate should ideally have mainly corporate and commercial experience and be skilled in drafting, amending and/or reviewing contracts and agreements for a range of transactions. Candidates should be based in the UAE with experience in the local legal market. Given that this is a senior position, experience in managing client relationships is also expected. Successful applicants will: have outstanding English language skills; . have corporate and commercial experience; have a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience at a reputable law firm or company; have the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team; have the ability to exhibit leadership, ownership and responsibility for tasks; have strong experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements; have experience in advising clients on a range of corporate matters; have a commercial mindset; have very good communication and interpersonal skills; and understand and apply client service commitment.
