Imaging/Capture Developer Product Oracle WebCenter Content Suite of products are an Enterprise Scale Content Management Platform. WebCenter Content Family consists of Enterprise Content Management, Imaging, Capture and Integrations with ERP systems. These products are widely used on premise by some of the largest enterprises in the world. We are in the process of creating SAAS based offerings of key capabilities of the suite to the cloud. Position We are expanding our team to support the creation of content-based SAAS applications starting with Document Capture. We are looking for developers to work on our leading-edge server team. Our Server team provides all the necessary functionality and complex logic to handle content capture, management, disposition and consumption. The server team develops software in J2EE and provides REST and Java APIs to all client teams for invoking the server functionality from UI and mobile clients. It also provides APIs to cloud provisioning team for configuring the application in cloud including managing its lifecycle. Desired Skills . BS (or above) in Computer Science or equivalent, with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented concepts and design. . 5+ years of solid programming experience in Java/J2EE and good working experience in multi- tenant cloud service. . Good experience in developing highly available (multi node) and scalable server applications. . Good knowledge of HTTP, REST and LDAP. . Good working experience of Oracle database, SQL and JDBC. . Sharp eye for design and performance. . Experience with Linux. . Ability to work independently with teams to gather and understand business requirements and convert them into solid functional specification documents. . With can-do attitude and willingness to work hard. Sharp eye for design and performance. . Knowledge of continuous integration and Git/github a plus . Experience working with Scrum or similar Agile methodology . Nice to have: experience using scripting languages (python, bash, ANT etc) Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
