Job Title: Hydro Testing Engineer

Location: Qatar (RLIC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hydro Testing Engineer with strong Oil & Gas plant exposure in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising hydrostatic and pneumatic testing activities in compliance with project specifications, international codes, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and supervise hydrostatic & pneumatic testing of pipelines, pressure vessels, piping systems, and equipment

Prepare Hydro Test Packs, test procedures, and method statements

Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Client, and Third-Party Inspectors

Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and project specifications

Monitor test pressure, duration, and safety arrangements

Ensure all testing activities comply with HSE requirements

Identify leaks, defects, and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Maintain accurate test records, reports, and handover documentation

Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects

Mandatory Qatar Oil & Gas plant experience

Strong knowledge of:

Hydrostatic & pneumatic testing procedures

Piping systems, pressure vessels, and pipelines

International standards (ASME B31.3, API, ISO)

Valid certifications related to Hydro Testing or QA/QC (preferred)

Excellent coordination and documentation skills
