Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified

Hydraulic Mechanic

to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems on heavy equipment and machinery used in construction operations. This role is essential to ensuring minimal equipment downtime and maximum operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems on various types of heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, cranes, loaders, bulldozers) Inspect hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses, and fittings Perform preventive maintenance to minimize failures and extend equipment life Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic systems and components Identify faults and recommend necessary repairs or parts replacements Conduct pressure testing and fluid level checks Maintain service records and complete repair documentation Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times Communicate effectively with equipment operators and supervisors regarding equipment issues Support other mechanical repairs as needed

Requirements:

Minimum [3-5] years of relevant experience Proven experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic, preferably in a construction or heavy machinery environment Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and components Ability to read hydraulic diagrams and schematics Familiarity with various brands and types of construction equipment (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, etc.) Competence in using diagnostic tools, hand and power tools Physically capable of lifting heavy components and working in field conditions Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is an asset High school diploma or technical/vocational training in mechanics or hydraulics Immediate Joiners

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in hydraulics or heavy equipment maintenance Familiarity with workshop safety standards and maintenance procedure
