Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Hydraulic System Mechanic

to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the

hydraulic systems

of

concrete pumps

and associated equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pumps, valves, and cylinders, especially as applied to heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose faults and inspect hydraulic systems on concrete pumps (stationary and truck-mounted). Perform repairs or replacements of hydraulic pumps, valves, hoses, motors, cylinders, and fittings. Carry out preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems according to service schedules. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals. Perform pressure tests, flow checks, and calibrations of hydraulic systems. Assemble, install, or rebuild hydraulic components and systems as needed. Ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Collaborate with electricians, welders, and other mechanics when necessary. Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and repair documentation. Recommend improvements to hydraulic system designs for better performance and reliability. Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the workshop and on-site.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a hydraulic mechanic, preferably in concrete pump or heavy equipment maintenance. Deep understanding of hydraulic systems, including open and closed circuits. Ability to read and troubleshoot using hydraulic schematics and service manuals. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and pressure testing equipment. Hands-on experience with concrete pumps from major brands (e.g., Putzmeister, Schwing, CIFA, etc.) is an advantage. Familiar with hydraulic oils, filtration systems, and contamination control. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Physically fit and capable of handling heavy components and working in various environments.

Education:

Technical diploma or certificate in Hydraulic Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
