Job Description

Main Accountabilities:

o Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning of the business units.o Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.o Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for DX, AHUs, FAHU, MAHU, FCUs.o Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.o Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.o Excellent knowledge in control wiring and electrical fault rectificationso Hands on experience in diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in the HVAC system.o Team player and control the team and schedule the work to the designated team members.o Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.o Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.o Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.o Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.o Assisting with the queries from the business unito Examining domestic appliances like refrigerators, burners and identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns and resolve the issues.o Conduct proactive maintenance for the domestic equipment to increase the asset lifetime.o Intermediate knowledge in plumbing systemJob specification: o High school diploma, or IT with HVAC refrigeration as main o 3 to 5 year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue studies in HVAC field.o Valid driver's license is an added advantageo Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.o Skilled experience in the field of chilled water units ( FCU, FAHU, AHU, MAHU) and refrigeration units ( domestic fridge).o Proficient knowledge in the chiller system.o Above average communication skills in English, Hindi.o Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.o Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.o Ability to work in confined spaces.o Ability to work across multi-cultural / multi-national environments
