About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

HVAC Estimation Engineer

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC systems in large-scale MEP projects across commercial, residential, and industrial developments in the UAE. This role requires strong knowledge of HVAC engineering principles, market pricing, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC systems. Quantify and analyze HVAC materials, equipment, and labor requirements from project documentation. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for HVAC materials and services. Evaluate project risks, technical specifications, and propose cost-saving solutions. Prepare and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements and deadlines. Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and procurement to ensure estimates align with project execution plans. Conduct value engineering exercises and recommend cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality. Stay updated with industry standards, market trends, and local authority regulations (such as Dubai Municipality, Dubai Building Code). Participate in post-tender clarifications and negotiations with clients and consultants. Support project handover and perform cost analysis for ongoing and completed projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC estimation within the UAE construction industry, preferably with an MEP contracting company. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation, ducting, chillers, and controls. Familiarity with UAE local authority regulations and standards (Dubai Municipality, Dubai Building Code). Proficient in estimation software such as CCS Candy, Bluebeam, MS Excel, and AutoCAD. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
