to support our MEP team in preparing detailed and coordinated HVAC shop drawings for high-rise and commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of ducting layouts, chilled water piping, and coordination with other trades.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare HVAC shop drawings (ducting, piping, equipment layout) based on IFCs and design intent.
Develop coordinated drawings with structural, electrical, and plumbing trades.
Incorporate HVAC load calculations and equipment specifications into the layout.
Revise and update drawings per site modifications and consultant feedback.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings and maintain drawing logs.
Follow local codes and consultant standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.).
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Drafting.
4-6 years of experience in HVAC drafting (UAE experience preferred).
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
Understanding of chilled water, DX systems, ventilation requirements.
