Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

HVAC Draughtsman

to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing HVAC drawings, layouts, and coordination plans for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and site supervisors to ensure all HVAC drawings are accurate, compliant with standards, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed HVAC drawings using AutoCAD / Revit / other relevant software. Create ducting, piping, and equipment layout drawings based on design inputs and site requirements. Produce coordinated drawings with other trades (electrical, plumbing, civil, etc.). Assist engineers in developing HVAC system designs. Revise drawings based on engineer or client feedback. Ensure all drawings are compliant with local codes, standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA), and project specifications. Maintain drawing documentation and filing systems. Conduct site visits when necessary for as-built drawings or to resolve design issues. Collaborate with procurement and installation teams to ensure constructability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum

5 years

of experience as an HVAC Draughtsman in construction projects. Proficient in AutoCAD. Understanding of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation, and equipment layout. Familiarity with MEP coordination practices. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
