Job Description

Job purpose The position is responsible to direct a variety of human resource-related programs with the objective to ensure that the organization?s current and future human resource requirements are met and that employees are recruited, managed, organized, trained, evaluated and rewarded in accordance with organization's human resource strategy within the limits of relevant regulations, laws and employment standards. Duties and responsibilities ? Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend strategies and adapt existing current human resource programs to meet these needs. ? Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of human resource professionals to ensure that the organization's human resource strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards. ? Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations. ? Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, or labor relations activities of company. ? Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems. ? Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. ? Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes. ? Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures. ? Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants. ? Plan and prepare budgets for manpower, payroll, employee benefits, major events, teambuilding activities/events, etc. ? Directly manage the hiring and disciplinary matters related to staff ? Represent organization at personnel-related hearings, investigations, and manage all government relations. ? Administer compensation, performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs. ? Draft policies and procedures and be skilled in conducting trainings as part of learning & development of employees. Person Specification ? Education: Bachelor?s degree or post graduate qualification in human resources or social/management sciences
  • Possess Professional Certifications
  • Experience: 7 years+
? Specialized knowledge: o Sound knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems. o Know-how of local laws, legal codes, court procedures and government regulations. o Sufficient knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders. ? Skills: Coordination, Negotiation, Training, Presentation, MS Office, Interpersonal, Complex Problem Solving, Decision Making.
