Job Description

Pacitek is consulting a Dubai-based IT distribution company in their search for hiring a Human Resources Manager. This role is responsible for developing and leading strategic plans and procedures within the human resources management field that will expand the business' capacity for growth. As the sole individual in the human resources department, the Human Resources Manager must carry out the seven main functions of human resources for the company and its employees. Due to the start-up nature of the company, the Human Resource Manager's significant tasks will include:

  • Cooperating with the company's leadership team to execute the company's first company-wide strategic planning cycle;
  • Designing and implementing: (1) vigorous performance management and evaluation processes; (2) a talent acquisition program targeting bright seasoned, as well as young professionals; (3) an appropriate employer branding strategy as part of the talent acquisition duties with the help of company leadership and marketing team; and (4) the criterion required for employees in each position to meet to become promoted;
  • Researching, selecting, and implementing a human resources management system that will help enhance reporting methods and execute department-related processes;
  • Refining the company's culture in accordance with shifts in the company's strategies and needs;
  • Developing Key Performance Indicators to measure relevant HR activities and goals; and
  • Developing the annual Human Resource budget based on historical data and trends.
OTHER RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Implementing and driving strategies and initiatives aimed at increasing employee engagement;
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding procedures effectively;
  • Overseeing all elements of human resources administration such as managing payroll, writing offer letters, etc.;
  • Collaborating with department managers and company leadership to conduct training for new and existing hires as required;
  • Proactively research and recommend new policies and procedures to enhance the company's human resource strategy and practices;
  • Taking charge of conducting quarterly and annual employee performance reviews;
  • Developing dedicated incentive programs for each position within the company to promote employee morale and engagement;
  • Effectively recruiting and selecting based on the company's needs;
  • Monitoring the implementation of human resources legal requirements, investigating violations and informing the necessary individuals and organizational bodies of such violations as needed, and ensuring that the company complies with the required labor laws; and
  • Aiding employees in figuring out their talents and making necessary adjustments to their positions to merge their interests with the company's needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prior involvement with strategic planning cycles;
  • 5 or more years of human resources management experience;
  • Excellent understanding of the UAE Labor Law;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management;
  • Demonstrated advanced project management skills; and
  • Superb writing and communication skills in English.
