The Role
Job Brief: We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all aspects related to Human Resources within the company. The ideal candidate should establish best practices for HR within the company, and in the future manage and oversee the implementation of these practices by HR staff. The HR Manager is expected to have full proficiency and expertise in HR functions within the UAE. This job description is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities. As a start-up, the role may be particularly dynamic. Key responsibilities: . Lead and manage all HR functions within the company (i.e. recruitment, termination, resignation, benefits, learning and development, etc.) . Plan and coordinate performance appraisals . Anticipate and create workforce requirements for the company . Prepare and execute employee engagement activities . Manage recruitment and selection functions all while adhering to HR best practices . Develop and review job descriptions, offer letters, employment contracts and all HR related documents . Liaise and follow up with the PRO for all visa/permits/immigration requirements as per the UAE Laws . Consider and support the Emiratisation program . Maintain employee information and records in a professional manner all while maintaining confidentiality . Manage all employee matters such as complaints, leaves, etc. . Provide support to line managers in all aspects related to HR . Ensure that HR practices are in line with the company's organisational culture and strategic direction . Work towards enforcing the organisational culture through events, and activities . Develop methods and activities for employee motivation and learning and development . Identify training requirements and arrange for employee training . Prepare and maintain HR related reports . Implement and enforce disciplinary actions . Participate in the selection and implementation of an HRMS . Establish a grading system and a salary scale . Develop and update yearly salary benchmarking
