Under direct supervision, provides general office support involving routine and similar clerical duties requiring limited knowledge of systems or procedures. This is an entry level position which provides training and experience to individuals with no previous office experience and/or to individuals who are disabled
Summary of Main Duties

Opens, sorts, date stamps, and distributes incoming mail; collects, seals, and stamps outgoing mail.
Photocopy, sort, and/or staple documents, as requested.
File various documents and records as specifically instructed; may retrieve files on request.
Type labels, envelopes, and/or routine forms.
Deliver items to other campus departments.
Sort documents and stuff envelopes for mass mailings.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED; no previous experience required.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
