We are seeking a motivated HR Assistant to join our growing team and support our human resources operations in a dynamic industrial manufacturing environment.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our HR department. This position requires regular interaction with factory floor operations, production supervisors, and blue-collar workforce in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment, employee records management, onboarding processes, and general HR operations while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the full recruitment cycle including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer letter preparation for both white-collar and blue-collar positions
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases (HRMS) for factory workers and office staff
Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees, including factory floor inductions
Coordinate with production supervisors and factory floor personnel on HR matters
Prepare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and internal communications
Coordinate employee evaluations and performance review documentation across all departments
Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and timekeeping systems for shift workers
Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Coordinate with and provide documentation support to PRO for visa processing and renewals
Support labor accommodation management and worker welfare initiatives
Maintain filing systems for personnel records and ensure proper documentation standards
Coordinate training sessions and employee engagement activities
Assist with vendor management for HR-related services including manpower suppliers
Liaise with factory supervisors regarding workforce planning and staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
1-3 years of experience in an HR role (manufacturing/industrial sector strongly preferred)
Comfortable working in industrial manufacturing environment with regular factory floor visits
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and procedures
Experience handling blue-collar workforce HR operations
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs)
Experience with HRMS systems
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi/Urdu to effectively communicate with factory personnel and management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments
Experience with labor accommodation management and worker welfare programs
Multilingual capabilities (English/Hindi/Urdu)
Understanding of factory HR operations
Work Environment
This role is based in an active manufacturing facility with regular interaction across production floors, warehouses, and administrative offices. The position requires adaptability to industrial settings and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams ranging from senior management to factory floor personnel.
