Hse / Safety Officer – Solar Construction
Job Description
Location: Dubai-based, multi-site (solar park EPC projects)
Experience: Minimum 4 years in construction HSE, preferably with solar/renewables
Qualifications:
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
NEBOSH IGC compulsory; UAE labor law and driving license beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, monitor HSE plans tailored to large solar projects
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, risk assessments, toolbox talks
Investigate incidents/near-misses, prepare reports, enforce corrective measures
Maintain documentation - training records, safety data, monthly HSE reports
Lead daily/periodic safety briefings, emergency drills -- promote zero-incident culture
Preferred Skills:
ISO 45001/ISO 14001 experience
OSHA, ISO auditor certifications advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
