We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and field-proven HSE Safety Officer with a strong track record in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate must be well-versed in practical site safety operations and recognized for effectively managing HSE systems in challenging, high-risk environments. You will play a key role in implementing safety procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and cultivating a proactive safety culture across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in accordance with industry and legal standards.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including audits, inspections, and corrective action plans.

Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, inductions, and awareness programs.

Monitor and report unsafe conditions and behaviors, and enforce safety protocols.

Lead accident/incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare detailed reports.

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on safety goals.

Maintain safety performance data, HSE statistics, and documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

NEBOSH IGC Certification or equivalent (Mandatory).

Additional certifications such as OSHA, ISO 45001 Auditor

Minimum 5 years of solid hands-on HSE experience in the Oil & Gas field environment (site-based experience is essential).

Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives and manage risk in operational oil & gas settings.

Thorough knowledge of local and international safety standards and regulations.

Strong communication, leadership, and incident reporting skills.

Willingness and ability to work in remote or high-risk field environments.
