Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. The role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest standards of HSE compliance, mitigate risks, and promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments and safety audits, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and track HSE performance metrics. Provide training and guidance to staff on health, safety, and environmental protocols. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the effective implementation of safety measures.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas industry. NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Health and Safety. Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certification. Strong understanding of HSE regulations, safety protocols, and risk management processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
