Al Rakha General Contracting LLC is a leading civil construction company specializing in high-quality villa and building projects. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability across all our sites.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Lead to oversee and manage our Health, Safety, and Environment systems and ensure compliance with all local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's HSE policies, procedures, and management systems. Conduct risk assessments and ensure that safe work practices are followed across all construction activities. Monitor and inspect site activities to identify unsafe conditions, practices, and potential hazards. Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions for staff and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with local legislation, client HSE requirements, and company standards. Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reports. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture. Participate in internal and external HSE audits. Review and approve method statements and risk assessments before site execution. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in HSE performance across all projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory (LEVEL 6) Minimum 10+ years of experience in HSE roles within civil construction (villas, buildings projects). In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry best practices. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse site teams and subcontractors. Proficient in preparing HSE reports and documentation
