Position Overview
The HSE Engineer works closely with project management and site teams to implement Parsons' Safety, Health, and Environmental programs. The role involves conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments, supporting safe work practices, and ensuring that all project activities align with regulatory, client, and corporate HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Support project and program managers in implementing and administering site-specific SH&E programs
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Parsons corporate standards and applicable regulations
• Identify workplace hazards and provide technical guidance to control and eliminate SH&E risks
• Prepare and submit detailed reports for audits, inspections, observations, and corrective actions
• Monitor work planning and site operations to ensure alignment with Parsons Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program
• Implement occupational injury and incident reporting, investigation, and case management procedures
• Maintain and update SH&E training records in line with project and corporate requirements
• Participate in daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and routine safe work meetings
• Support SH&E Manager and project leadership with additional safety and environmental tasks as required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety, health, environmental management, or a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university
• Minimum of 8 years of Health and Safety experience within construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of federal and local SH&E regulations, reporting procedures, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience conducting site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
• Ability to attend in-person interviews in the UAE

Desired Skills

• Recognized health and safety certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, ADOSH SF-OSHMS Practitioner A or B, ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001:2015, ADVETI, First Aid, or Fire Safety training
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate risk trends and recommend corrective and preventive actions
