Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are tailored to the needs of a marketing agency in compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing, with a focus on identifying candidates with previous experience in a marketing agency
- Work with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions that reflect the unique requirements of a marketing agency
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure new employees are set up for success in a marketing agency environment
- Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary action, and conflict resolution, while also taking into account the unique demands of a marketing agency
- Manage employee benefits, including enrollment and communication with insurance providers, while also considering the needs of a marketing agency workforce
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations as they relate to marketing agencies
- Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs that are tailored to the needs of a marketing agency
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues, including benefits, policies, and procedures, while also understanding the unique challenges faced by marketing agency staff
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR as they relate to marketing agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years of experience working in a marketing agency
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law as they relate to marketing agencies
- Experience managing the recruitment process and conducting interviews with a focus on identifying candidates with previous experience in a marketing agency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand the unique needs of a marketing agency workforce
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance the needs of the company and employees in a marketing agency environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing agency staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred
