We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Specialist (Talent Acquisition) with solid background in Recruiting & Onboarding to join our HR department in Solutions & Road in Dubai. The HR Specialist, Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to attract, recruit & onboard the talent necessary to support the operations and growth for Solutions, Road Freight and Global Hires. The individual will identify, assess “top talent” internally and externally. The role requires coordination of all efforts related to recruiting to ensure right candidates are selected considering skills sets, and knowledge, aligned with our Diversity and Inclusion policy Responsibilities: Recruitment – Attracting, Sourcing, and Screening
Partner with the hiring managers to identify and plan recruitment needs and develop recruiting strategies to identify, target, and attract “Top Talents”.
Advise & coach the business on the recruiting policies, systems, and best practice in hiring “Top Talents”
Draft / Post job descriptions utilizing different our internal platforms. Attract & manage applicants by advertising job openings as per DSV guidelines and recruitment policies
Build talent pools by mapping current and future skills. Create a pipeline for all critical hires
Comprehensive market research on salary/ grading of people at all levels.
Conduct thorough screening to qualify candidates for further rounds of interviews with detailed feedback.
Conduct candidate reference, as needed
Manage the interview process, including pre-screening of candidates
Schedule and arrange for interviews & site visits.
Continually create new, innovative methods to improve the recruitment process and success
Onboarding
Prepare Offer Letter as per DSV guidelines
Provide candidates with an overview of the pre-boarding and onboarding processes
Coordinating with the Admin team with necessary documents for visa processing.
Arranging for IT assets/ systems and safety gear for all new hires.
Conducting interactive HR Inductions on day one along with QHSE and IT.
MIS
Providing weekly reports for all ongoing hirings to internal stakeholders.
Notifying business on New Staff Updates
Ensure all recruitment trackers/dashboards/reports are updated
Manage internal recruitment system for entire recruitment cycle
Conduct assessment tools for selected positions
Miscellaneous
Archiving personal documents on shared drive for every new hire
Build & maintain relations with Search Firms, Job Boards and Universities.
Engage with DSV Customers (via Account/ Site managers) on their hiring needs
Qualifications & Characteristics:
Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Human Resources
A minimum of 5 years work experience as an in-house recruiter, preferably in a fast-growth organization and a highly competitive labor market environment
Sound knowledge of HR practices
Ability to communicate openly and confidently (Oral and Written)
Ability to involve stakeholders in decision making process, to get buy-in and to implement solutions
Readiness to continuously focus on identifying and meeting current and future recruiting needs
Readiness to provide alternatives and optimized recruiting solutions
Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, control recruiting tasks
Time management (monitoring performance against deadlines and milestones)
Knowledgeable of markets & competitors, and about Industry trends & challenges
Business Acumen (understands principles and fundamentals of finance and profitability)
Be authentic, approachable, open and honest.
