The HR & Medical Licensing Specialist is responsible for supporting human resources functions and managing the licensing and credentialing processes for medical professionals. This role ensures that all personnel comply with healthcare regulations and licensing requirements, while also assisting in recruitment, onboarding, and employee support.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
Support the administration of employee benefits and leave tracking.
Coordinate training and development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Assist with employee relations and performance review processes.
Medical Licensing Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle of professional licensing for physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
Track expiration and renewal dates for all licenses, certifications, and registrations.
Liaise with local, regional, and international licensing bodies (e.g., DHA, MOH, HAAD, DOH, or relevant authority).
Prepare, compile, and submit documentation required for new license applications, renewals, and upgrades.
Stay updated with changes in licensing regulations and communicate updates to relevant staff.
Ensure facility licensing and accreditations are up to date.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in HR and/or medical licensing (preferably in a healthcare setting).
Strong knowledge of HR practices and healthcare regulatory compliance.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
