HR Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Well versed on HRMS and Payroll systems administration.
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Develops and implements recruitment and screening systems and procedures to attract qualified candidates for vacancies.
  • Ensuring to have a healthy and diversified talent database.
  • Lead and coordinate with relevant colleagues and PMO team to ensure all the new hires have a very positive and welcoming experience such as travel, on-boarding, housing and orientation.
Key Deliverables.
  • Coach, guide and develop the HR team with their daily work activities and help them to reach their potential, also ensuring all employees have up to date job descriptions which are centrally held and administered within the HRMS database respectively.
  • Support with all other HR functions such as payroll, insurance, filing and administration, tickets, employee welfare and the management and data control of the HRMS system.
  • Lead employee welfare committee meetings, employee engagement activities etc.
  • Assist in developing and implementing all required internal policies, communications and procedures.
  • Support the PRO with local authorities and compliance matters.
  • Liaise and engage with the local authorities such as DMCC, trouble shoot and resolve and complexities when and where required, support the PRO.
Employee Life Cycle Management.
  • Ensure all employee data is controlled including visa documentation and annual flight ticket accruals.
  • Champion the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
  • Manage and govern employee leave including external site based / remote employees. Coordinate with their management to remain aligned and up to date.
  • Employee relations managing absence, disciplinary issues, grievances, sickness etc. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
  • Support and prepare performance appraisals including mid-year and end of year. Ensure year end increments and bonusses are administered for correctly and executed plus documented on time.
  • Learning & Development: providing guidance on development for managers and their teams.
  • Training: Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement along with Talent review, Succession planning.
  • Recruitment & retention: managing talent and succession planning.
  • Reward advice and support employees on company benefits. Competitive Compensation and benefits Competitive Reward and Incentive structure administration.
  • Policy & procedures implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes.
Requirements for the role \xe2\x80\x93 Candidate should have.
  • Preferred: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human resources or similar/equivalent.
  • 5+ years U.A.E. experience in human resources and recruitment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Preferred HRMS payroll admin experience and ability.
  • Ability to work discretely and in confidence, a trusting nature.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems.
  • Familiarity with HR software and good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organizational nature.
  • Experience working with HRMS application is a must.
  • Understanding UAE labor law and ability to operate within its framework.
Salary - AED 20000 TO AED 25000
