Oversee the recruitment, hiring process and onboarding process
Provide orientation for new employees by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
Maintain human resources records for employees by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, change in job classifications, and merit increase dates as well as tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
Document and tracks human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
Carrying out necessary administrative duties.
Conducting performance and salary reviews.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.
Creating clear and concise reports.
Make sure our organisation complies with HR labour laws and regulations
Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.
Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
Maintaining employee and workplace privacy.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelors / Masters degree in human resources management or equivalent.
Experience in human resources or related field.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
Experience in educating and coaching staff.
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
Ability to give presentations.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
