Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HR Generalist to manage our day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will be the go-to person for all employee-related matters, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the HR function. This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong understanding of HR practices, UAE labor law, and a genuine passion for supporting both the business and its employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and onboarding programs to ensure a seamless integration for new employees.
  • Prepare and process employment visas, work permits, and other government-related documentation in compliance with UAE regulations.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and UAE labor law.
  • Proactively manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
3. HR Operations & Administration:
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Manage all administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle (hires, promotions, transfers, separations).
  • Process payroll inputs and coordinate with finance to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Administer employee benefits, including medical insurance, leave management, and end-of-service benefits.
4. Policy & Compliance:
  • Ensure all HR practices are in full compliance with UAE Federal Labor Law and other relevant regulations.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and best practices in HR.
5. Learning & Development:
  • Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions on various topics, including compliance, soft skills, and leadership development.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in HR Operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE labor law and visa processing is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and full-cycle recruiting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software.
Preferred:
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPD, CHRP, CHRM, SHRM, or PHR is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in the [Your Industry] sector in the UAE.
  • Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
