Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. This role requires a hands-on approach to a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic problem-solver with a solid foundation in HR best practices, specifically within fast-paced industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new hires. Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates.
  • HR Operations & Administration: Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, process HR-related documentation (contracts, amendments, letters), and manage employee queries efficiently.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies. Proactively address and resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Performance Management: Support the annual performance review cycle, guiding managers on setting objectives, providing feedback, and conducting effective evaluations.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Assist in the administration of payroll data, leave management, and benefits enrollment. Support in benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Policy Implementation & Compliance: Ensure all HR activities comply with local UAE labor laws. Support in the development and roll-out of HR policies and initiatives.
  • Learning & Development: Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads and coordinate training sessions to enhance employee skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CIPD, CHRP, CHRM, SHRM, or PHR are highly preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in an HR Generalist or HR Operations role.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience within the Equipment Rental, Construction, Manufacturing, or Industrial sectors is a significant advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in an urgent, fast-paced environment.
