HR Executive - Logistics Operations - Al-Futtaim Logistics - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The HR Executive role in Dubai supports Al-Futtaim Logistics by providing hands-on, operational human resources support to logistics employees and line managers. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, HR Connect shared services, and third-party providers, this role ensures efficient HR operations, employee support, compliance, and accurate coordination across recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, employee relations, and workforce administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support line managers and Group Recruitment in interviews, assessments, and hiring activities for roles such as drivers and warehouse operators
  • Actively source candidates for open positions and maintain accurate recruitment tracking reports
  • Ensure completion and management of employee documentation including C3 cards and insurance cards
  • Coordinate local induction processes for new and existing employees across Al-Futtaim Logistics
  • Respond to employee HR queries related to policies and procedures, referring cases to HR Connect or HRBP where required
  • Support employee relations by acting as a point of contact and counsellor when needed
  • Manage separation processes, ensuring timely submission to HR Connect before payroll deadlines and smooth employee exits
  • Conduct exit interviews for employees in grades 1 to 12 and share insights with HRBP
  • Maintain accurate separation, payroll, and employee tracking records
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related inputs including overtime, leave, deductions, and additional payments in line with group policies
  • Support the AFL Values Award Programme, including nomination validation, event coordination, and employee recognition activities
  • Coordinate casual labor requirements with third-party providers, maintain labor registers, and prepare monthly reconciliations
  • Provide cost calculation sheets to Finance and third-party providers on a monthly basis
  • Maintain employee accommodation registers, manage transfer requests, and coordinate with Group Housing on related matters
  • Support HRBP and line managers in employee meetings and represent HR in the absence of HRBP
  • Maintain job descriptions, organizational charts, and HR documentation at business level
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of HR experience within the UAE, preferably in logistics or operational environments
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and payroll coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
