HR Director

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Our client is a Trading and Distribution company representing many brands

A new role within the organization as the HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources activities within our Corporate company.

You will lead a team of HR professionals and develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and programs that align with our strategic business objectives.

Your role will involve managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company\'s goals and
objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure the delivery
of high-quality HR services.
  • Oversee talent acquisition and retention efforts, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and off boarding
processes. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent.
  • Develop and implement performance management programs to drive employee engagement, productivity, and
  • development. Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting objective performance evaluations.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Design and administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentives, and
employee wellness initiatives. Stay informed about market trends and ensure competitive compensation

packages.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee
skills and competencies. Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity
(EEO), affirmative action, and occupational health and safety (OHS). Proactively address any compliance gaps

and conduct internal audits as needed. 9. Stay current on HR best practices and industry trends.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute workforce planning strategies that align with the
company\'s long-term goals.
