Job Description


We are working with a well-established multinational FMCG company with HQ in the US, to appoint an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support corporate and operational leadership teams. This role is pivotal in aligning HR strategy with business objectives and strengthening organisational capability, engagement and performance.
The Role
As HR Business Partner and the sole HR person in the business locally, you will work closely with senior leaders across the region to deliver both strategic and hands-on HR support. You will act as a trusted advisor across a broad HR remit, with particular focus on employee relations, talent management, leadership development and organisational effectiveness in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver HR strategies that support short- and long-term business goals
  • Provide day-to-day HR support while driving strategic and tactical HR initiatives across assigned business units
  • Build strong, credible relationships with leaders and employees, offering guidance on people and performance matters
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure compliance with GCC employment legislation and internal HR policies
  • Coach and advise managers on performance, engagement, talent development and succession planning
  • Lead and support workforce planning and organisational design initiatives
  • Champion core HR processes including performance management, compensation planning, talent reviews and capability planning
  • Identify skills gaps and training needs, partnering on learning and development solutions
  • Support change management initiatives and lead HR-related projects from design through execution
  • Collaborate closely with wider HR teams to ensure consistent, high-quality HR service delivery
  • Participate in business reviews, leadership meetings and team initiatives as a strategic HR contributor
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in an HR Business Partner role
  • Successful candidates will have 10-15 years total work experience (no more than this)
  • Solid experience from a multinational well-recognised global brand (ideally in FMCG) where you can demonstrate ongoing development throughout your career
  • Strong working knowledge of core HR disciplines including employee relations, employment law, performance management, compensation and talent management
  • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume corporate environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality
Desirable
  • Professional HR certification (CIPD or equivalent)
  • Experience with HRIS / ERP systems
  • Exposure to large, multi-functional corporate organisations
