This role ensures smooth onboarding for new employees by coordinating documentation, government procedures, induction activities, and HR system updates while maintaining compliance with UAE labor laws and internal policies.

Role Summary
The HR Analyst - Onboarding plays a key role in managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new joiners across Al-Futtaim Group. The position involves liaising with employees, HR business partners, and government departments to ensure efficient onboarding, data accuracy, and compliance with all legal and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding-related queries and provide timely assistance to new employees.
  • Coordinate joining formalities, including document collection, hotel arrangements, and travel bookings.
  • Process government documentation such as visa, medical, and labor formalities.
  • Facilitate the corporate induction process and ensure smooth transition of new hires into the organization.
  • Maintain data integrity in SAP HR and ensure all onboarding records are accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, line managers, and other stakeholders across MENA to ensure onboarding compliance.
  • Provide advice on company policies and UAE labor laws where applicable.
  • Track onboarding progress, escalate issues, and ensure timely case closure.
  • Gather feedback and promote continuous improvement in onboarding operations.
  • Prepare reports and maintain confidentiality in all employee-related matters.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in an HR operational role within the UAE or GCC.
  • Familiarity with SAP HR or other ERP HR modules.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of UAE labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
