FP&A Hotels Manager works closely with the hotels finance directors spread over MEA (Middle-East Africa) region to collect the required reports and data and consolidate information for presentation and review by senior management at the Regional Office in Dubai.
FP&A Hotels Manager plays an integral role in assessing the performance of the hotels and recommending different actions to enhance the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
Hotels reporting
Follow up and ensure all hotels submit their monthly financials, forecasts, and budgets on time as per the set reporting calendar, in coordination with Finance Operations
Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to the Hotel industry standards
Evaluate the current reporting processes, uncover areas for improvement, prepare and present possible solutions
Assist in the preparation of budget review, budget fee income and analysis
Reports and Management review
Structure large data sets and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to understand business performance
Analyse financial data, advise managers on findings, and recommend actions and solutions
Develop an action plan tracker and ensure recommended actions are implemented
Effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
Assist in the preparation of performance review for Management
Develop and Implement Data Collection Strategies across different reporting platforms
Support & Training
Provide support and training to hotel staff on the month end reporting process
Provide training to head office departments on OneStream
Projects and performance tests
Participate in the group / regional projects
Update/complete performance test (top-up), business plans or HMA termination
Qualifications
Personal qualities and behavioural traits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Service-minded and open-minded
Experience and Skills
Strong user knowledge in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a plus
Strong user knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems (OneStream / Oracle / SAP)
Knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Administration or Accounting and Finance
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Familiar with Uniform System of Account for the Lodging Industry (USALI) is an advantage
