s As a Project Manager on the development team, you will navigate your assigned projects through due diligence, municipal approvals, architectural and interior design, brand coordination, construction & FF&E purchasing. You will be supported by a knowledgeable and diverse in-house team of architects, engineers, interior designers, purchasers, hotel management, and development professionals. You will work closely with the Core team and act as a representative to ensure the project runs smoothly by making intelligent & holistic decisions related to scheduling, design, brand conformity, FF&E and municipal relations.
Key Tasks:
Work with the Hospitality & Business Development Groups to prepare the Country / Region development strategy and prepare a coordinated Business Plan;
Source business leads locally/regionally/internationally to manage hotels/other businesses pertaining to the portfolio.
Identify the Regulatory Framework governing the Country / Region development strategy and Corporate Governance required to operate in the identified framework;
Partner with teams in preparing Business Case input for a portfolio of projects across, ensuring that business cases fall in line with company strategy
Establish, lead and coach project teams to ensure business cases achieve stakeholder approvals.
Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels within identified Country / Region including liaison with high level Local Authority, representative of stakeholder partners and key business affiliates within the Country / Region.
Lead, influence and manage Joint Venture Partners in preparing business plans, steering meetings and acting as company representative for the JV company.
Lead all product definition, design brief, project brief and cost estimation and budgeting activities for Hotel projects that are being handled with the help of Project Management and other functions within the Company.
Identify and document risk items for each Business Case being handled , including at an individual property level and at a Country level. Analyze, evaluate and rank overall risk exposure, including technical, financial, and human resources. Manage internal and external teams to ensure that feasibility, program, design, technical, quality and leasing specifications of projects are achieved through to completion and handover.
