Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Engineering professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. As an Engineer you are responsible to assist the Director of Engineering on all matters related to the repairs and maintenance operation of the physical plant and engineering facilities within the hotel. The role involves maintaining all mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, including heating and ventilation and will include key responsibilities such as: \xe2\x80\xa2
- Organize and set up preventive maintenance programmes for all electrical and mechanical equipment, including general building works \xe2\x80\xa2 Supervise maintenance employees and contractors who are carrying out minor building work, electrical and mechanical installations \xe2\x80\xa2 Write specifications for all electrical, mechanical and associated building works, complying with the local government regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Decide and agree with the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering on the priorities of all electrical and mechanical projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Advise and inform the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering on any health and safety matters relating to the electricity and work regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with the local government authorities when necessary \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee the general maintenance of all life safety systems throughout the hotel and report any major defects to the Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- Hotel Engineer: 5 years (Required)
- UAE Driving License (Required)
