Perform various duties ensuring orderly and timely completion of works orders received from internal guests, Duty engineer, Assistant director of engineering, director of engineering and supervisor. Perform a various work order involved maintaining preventive maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
A.H.U.- Operation and maintenance.
F.C.U.- Operation and maintenance.
Refrigerator \xe2\x80\x93 operation and maintenance.
Walking chiller and walking cooler \xe2\x80\x93 operation and maintenance.
B.M.S.- Monitoring. And faulty locations.
Exhaust & Ventilation system maintenance.
Split and window units\xe2\x80\x99 maintenance.
Familiarize yourself with the design and layout of the hotel. Obtain understanding of operating procedures related to such.
Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, and other processing units.
Regular maintenance and perform scheduled inspections, clean components, lubricate moving parts, and replace worn-out parts to prevent breakdowns and optimize system performance.
Performs tasks of rebuilding valves, mechanical wielding, brazing, and fabrications, replacing worn parts and accomplishing other major repairs to the HVAC equipment.
Perform safe operation methods and procedures in troubleshooting of all equipment system including steam and chilled water heat transfer systems.
Inspect equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamps, etc.
Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems to include fabrication of electrical control panels.
Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, armatures switches and other elements of electrical systems.
Schedule all daily air conditioning needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Minimum One years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as Engineer at a 5-star hotel.
Education: High school diploma; professional trade certification preferred.
General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest\xe2\x80\x99s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with one specific Trade as per Education qualification.
Language: Required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency.
