Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans based on the American curriculum standards and Early Years learning outcomes.+ Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and independence.
+ Assess students' progress using formative and summative tools; maintain accurate records and report to parents.
+ Promote language development through storytelling, phonics, reading, and interactive activities.
+ Support mathematical thinking through hands-on and play-based activities.
+ Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress and address concerns.
+ Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and staff to support students' learning and well-being.
+ Ensure classroom safety and follow school procedures and policies.
+ Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and team planning meetings.

Skills Description

1. Early Childhood Pedagogy:
Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles aligned with the American curriculum (e.g., Common Core or state standards).

2. Classroom Management:
Ability to create a structured, safe, and positive learning environment using age-appropriate behavior management strategies.

3. Communication Skills:
Clear, compassionate, and professional communication with children, parents, and colleagues--both verbal and written.

4. Instructional Design:
Skilled in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.

5. Language & Literacy Development:
Strong focus on early reading, writing, phonics, and oral language development using interactive and play-based strategies.

6. Numeracy Skills:
Ability to introduce foundational math concepts through hands-on activities and real-world connections.

Capable of designing fun, meaningful learning experiences that promote inquiry, creativity, and problem-solving.

8. Assessment & Observation:
Experienced in using formative and summative assessments to track student progress and guide instruction.
