Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Home-Based Teacher to lead the learning journey of two children (ages 4 and 6) through an unschooling and project-based homeschooling approach. The ideal candidate believes in child-led education and will focus on teaching through the childrens interests, allowing their natural curiosity to shape each days learning.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Home-Based Teacher to lead the learning journey of two children (ages 4 and 6) through an unschooling and project-based homeschooling approach. The ideal candidate believes in child-led education and will focus on teaching through the childrens interests, allowing their natural curiosity to shape each days learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate daily learning experiences based on what the children are genuinely interested in
- Implement project-based activities and hands-on lessons that integrate key subjects such as literacy, numeracy, science, arts, and nature exploration
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence, and independence through experiential learning
- Document learning progress through portfolios, photos, and brief reports
- Organize field trips and outdoor explorations aligned with learning themes and interests
- Adapt and evolve learning plans based on the childrens curiosity and engagement
- Maintain a positive, nurturing, and stimulating home learning environment
- Background in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Waldorf, or Alternative Education (preferred)
- Experience in unschooling, homeschooling, or child-led education
- Strong understanding of early years developmental needs
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Must be based in Dubai or willing to relocate
