Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians. Responsibilities
- Managing a patient's healthcare plan according to the Physician's instructions
- Bathing and grooming the patient daily
- Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs
- Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the patient's location or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
- Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with other healthcare personnel in the household
- Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable
- Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
- CPR, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
- friendly and excellent communication skills
- with minimum of 3 years experience as a home care nurse.
- Home care Nursing: 2 years (Required)
- English well (Required)
