Job Description
A Home Care Nurse, or Home Health Nurse provides in-home care and nursing services to patients under the supervision of a Physician. Their primary duties include administering medication, changing the patient's dressings, and preparing reports for the Physician in charge. Home Care Nurse duties and responsibilities
A Home Care Nurse has several important duties and responsibilities these include:
- Managing a patient's healthcare plan according to the Physician's instructions
- Bathing and grooming the patient daily
- Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and other vital signs
- Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication
- Checking for infection, bedsores, and wounds in the patient
- Educating and advising Caregivers in the household
- Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the progress of healing
- Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with other healthcare personnel in the household
- Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable
- Make recommendations for devices to tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Eligibility letter or DHA (Required)
