Reports to: AT Chief Sales Officer
Location: Dubai
Role Overview
This position involves driving business growth across Axian Telecom by identifying, developing, and securing strategic opportunities. The role ensures alignment with corporate objectives while managing relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and operations. It requires expertise in the telecom industry, excellent leadership, and a results-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Business Growth
Develop and execute a group-level business development strategy aligned with corporate goals.
Identify new revenue streams, market trends, and growth opportunities across operations/entities.
Collaborate with senior leadership to design long-term strategic initiatives.
Partnerships and Alliances
Forge and manage relationships with group operations, technology partners, vendors, and regulators.
Negotiate and establish partnerships for joint ventures, market entry, or technology adoption.
Define and implement strategies for penetrating new markets.
Sales Leadership
Set group-wide sales targets and ensure revenue goals are met.
Lead cross-operation/country sales teams to standardize best practices and improve efficiency.
Oversee large account management and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence
Analyze telecom market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to guide strategy.
Create detailed reports on emerging markets, investment opportunities, and business risks.
Conduct competitive analysis and market research for improvement and to identify customer needs.
Product and Service Expansion
Collaborate with internal teams to launch new telecom solutions, services & products.
Promote the adoption of innovative technologies within the group to stay ahead of competitors.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure integrated sales efforts
Financial Oversight
Prepare and manage budgets for sales and business development activities.
Work with operations to develop accurate sales forecasts.
Monitor budget utilization for sales activities and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA or a master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
10+ years in sales, business development, or strategic planning in telecom or technology industries.
Proven track record of achieving group-level revenue and partnership goals.
Experience in managing cross-functional, multi-regional teams.
Skills:
Strong understanding of telecom technologies and solutions.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and devise actionable strategies.
Familiarity with telecom regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
