An IT System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting an organization's IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, maintain, and support servers, systems, and network infrastructure
Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
Administer cloud and on-premise systems (servers, virtual machines, storage)
Manage user accounts, access control, and system security policies
Perform system updates, patches, and regular maintenance
Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
Ensure compliance with IT security best practices
Document system configurations, procedures, and changes
Coordinate with IT teams and vendors for issue resolution
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
2+ years experience in system administration
Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP preferred)
Understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
With valid Qatar id and able to immediate
Duration: 12 months (renewable)
