Job Purpose
The Engineer must be able to plan and manage the Helpdesk/NOC Operation of ICT service.
Job Responsibilities
Provide L1 & L2 remote support for IT Infrastructure
Respond to customer emails over ticketing tools, emails and calls
Coordinate with customers & vendors to resolve the technical issues
Prepare and submit the monthly ticket report to customers
Perform monthly health checks for IT infrastructure and submit report to customers
Performs systems administration functions such as managing user accounts and profiles, and maintaining hardware and software inventory and licenses
Provide day to day operational support for Windows Servers, Exchange Servers, Active Directory,SQL Servers, VMware & Hyper-V Servers
Provide support for Office 365 setup and troubleshoot the daily issues
Handle backup support calls (Veeam, Veritas netbackup, backup exec etc.)
Perform periodic windows patches for Servers
Installs, patches, and upgrades hardware and software in accordance with the company’s life cycle management policy
Monitors and maintains email applications, virus protection software, web filtering and monitoring appliances, and firewall profiles
Keep track of backup reports and offsite tapes
Consults IT knowledgebase(s), Internet, other team members and any other appropriate resources for the purpose of independent troubleshooting
Provides after-hours support, if required
Ensure service availability as per the SLA terms of the Customer
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Graduate/Diploma engineer in Electronics/Telecom/IT/computer science or related field
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in System and Security administration
Experience in Windows, System Query Language (SQL), Active Directory (AD), SharePoint, Exchange
Experience in working Mcfee, Trend micro
Experience in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Rights Management (IRM), End point detection and response
Experience in working with email security solutions
Should be flexible in working in shifts
Teamwork, Written, verbal communication & presentation skills
Excellent relationship building skills
