We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment used in industrial operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for professionals who excel in diagnosing mechanical issues and ensuring operational readiness of critical machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
xc2xb7 Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy-duty vehicles and machinery (e.g., dump trucks, loaders, forklifts, cranes, etc.)
xc2xb7 Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely
xc2xb7 Replace or repair worn or defective parts, such as cylinders, brakes, transmissions, and engines
xc2xb7 Conduct preventive maintenance checks and maintain service records
xc2xb7 Ensure all work complies with industry safety standards and internal procedures
xc2xb7 Collaborate with other technicians and the maintenance supervisor to minimize downtime
xc2xb7 Respond promptly to emergency repair requests as needed
Requirements
xc2xb7 Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
xc2xb7 Minimum 45 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle and equipment maintenance
xc2xb7 Trade certification or diploma in mechanical/automotive engineering is preferred
xc2xb7 Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
xc2xb7 Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
xc2xb7 Good communication and teamwork skills
xc2xb7 Willingness to work in an industrial setting in Mussafah, Abu dhabi.
xc2xb7 Physically fit and able to handle tools and machinery in a demanding work environment
xc2xb7 Willing to work 12 hrs in a day (Including overtime), 6 days in a week and 1 day off.
