We are currently seeking a HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER OR ENGINEER who has extensive experience to join our team in DUBAI.

Position: SAFETY OFFICER OR ENGINEER - HSE

:

We are seeking an experienced safety officer to ensure a safe work environment and adherence to UAE construction regulations on all project sites.

Previous experience in the construction industry will be an advantage to you.

Responsibilities:

Will ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health across jobsites.

Create, implement, and keep up-to-date safety policies and procedures to make sure they are in line with local laws and foreign standards.

Do regular inspections and risk assessments to find possible dangers and suggest ways to fix them.

Set up and run safety training programmes for workforce to encourage an overall safety-consciousness within the group of companies.

Incident investigation: Take charge of investigations into incidents and accidents. Analyze root causes and suggest preventive measures.

Make sure that safety rules are followed by inspecting and auditing work sites, equipment, and buildings on a regular basis.

Make plans and follow the steps for responding to an emergency. Do drills to make sure you're ready for situations.

Safety Communication: talk about safety problems by giving management and project teams regular updates and reports.

Stay abreast of local and international safety regulations.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:

Proven experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry.

MIN OF 3 YEARS of demonstrated experience as a Safety Officer in the Gulf region.

Hands-on experience in managing safety protocols for high-rise building projects.

Having a valid NEBOSH Certification and Occupational Health and Safety is a must.

Proficiency in both local safety requirements and international standards.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

The capacity to facilitate training programs and promote awareness initiatives.

Skilled at conducting incident investigations and evaluating risks.

Valid driver's license is a plus.
