ROLE SUMMARY
Deliver the sales objectives for the category by actively shaping and ensuring full understanding and execution of brand, customer and account Plans.
Direct, lead and motivate a team of Healthcare Engagement colleagues (Health Representative) to ensure development and execution of disease account management strategy and customer-facing omnichannel strategy to maximize brands performance and achieve business objectives
Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key category stakeholders at national level and support own team in engaging key customers in disease area networks to drive brand/portfolio business
Role models Pfizer values with visible and inspirational leadership focused on compliance and integrity
Ensures all compliance, internal processes, and any applicable regulations are well known and followed by the team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Team management & Healthcare engagement leadership
Set the direction and lead, manage, develop, and grow the Healthcare engagement team for their assigned portfolio to achieve its strategic goals and financial objectives
Report sales and engagement performance and insights to the Category Lead and Country Brand Lead
Deliver the sales objectives for the assigned category/portfolio by actively shaping and ensuring full understanding and execution of brand, customer and/or account Plans.
Leads and coaches a high performing team and develops colleagues in line with the Pfizer competency models including recruitment, training, development, and performance management to ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge & skills to perform effectively.
Reviews, designs, and monitors the effectiveness of the Sales Team through KPIs
Shape the culture of performance, empowerment, innovation, shared customer agenda and execution with the leadership team.
Develop constructive internal and cross functional relationships to facilitate teamwork; exchange of information; customer knowledge and the development of business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and manage key relationships locally e.g. influential customers as part of the agreed business plans
Ensure that accurate, timely and relevant customer knowledge; information and feedback are communicated by team members to relevant partners across the business using agreed processes
People Management
Ensure regular coaching of the team on their roles accountabilities effectively manage performance of Field Force by setting measurable metrics, sales targets based on agreed business objectives.
Generate a highly motivated and effective team in a positive work environment, modelling the company values
Evaluate and provide timely feedback and coaching to the team in order to ensure performance and high-level standards
QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience
Knowledge of healthcare environment - Structures/ Functionality/ Processes/ Funding / Distribution Chain and Customers
Knowledge of the category Therapeutic areas
Experience in pharmaceutical industry with successful sales experience and proof of consistent delivery of objectives (minimum 5 years)
Graduate of Science at Bachelor's level
