Being a Finance Business Partner of Oils & Fats Business group, support MD/CEOs/GMs and Director-Finance in operational and strategic decision making through financial reporting, analysis and performance monitoring.
Facilitate structured BG business reviews. Actively support BG annual Operating Plan exercise per Corporate guidelines.
Enforce financial discipline, cost and budgetary control.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support MD/CEOs/GMs and Dir Finance in operational and strategic decision making. Drive day-to-day business performance through timely release of accurate financial results and forecasts, analysis and monitoring of key business performance metrics including margin control, brand/ customer profitability, NPD, SKU rationalisation, etc. Facilitate structured business reviews.
Actively support development of 3-year overall BG Strategy Statement and Annual Operating Plan as per Corporate guidelines.
Lead/actively support cross functional cost saving/ optimisation, efficiency improvement, revenue/margin maximisation and other BU/Corporate initiatives.
Enforce financial discipline and efficient working capital management.
Safeguard BG\'s assets. Review credit control. Monitor capital expenditure expansion for the BG. Ensure physical verification of inventories and adequate insurance cover. Correctly ascertain BG liabilities through continuous risk assessment.
Continuously monitor foreign currency, interest and counter party risks. Help devise risk management strategies.
Ensure all statutory compliance are met including Income Tax

Work experience requirement
15 years relevant experience of which at least 5 years as Head Finance of medium/large sized FMCG / Commodity businesses (multi-product/multi-location).
Qualification
Professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/ CIMA/ICWA or equivalent). MBA with specialisation in Finance from a reputed Business School will be an added advantage.
