Cashier:
To handle cash and credit payments, handle different currencies, make change, give receipts, account for all payments and operate the cash register. Deliver prompt, courteous and accurate service in a manner that compiles with Food & Beverage standards and company policies and procedures relating to cash handling.
MAIN DUTIES:
Responsible for maintaining service standards in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring guests received the highest possible level of service to maintain overall satisfaction on a consistent basis.
Responsible for attending on-going training on full-time and ensure compliance of company standards and procedures. Maintain standards of food and beverage quality as established through restaurant standards, policies and procedures.
To implement policies and systems as required under the guidance of the management
To effectively manage your staff time and productivity whilst at work.
Follow and maintain service quality assurance.
Arrange proper mis-en-place for busy operation.
Be courteous, warm, smiling while dealing with guests. Be efficient, fast and serve with confidence and flair.
To use up-selling techniques when selling food and beverage items.
Clean all areas in restaurant for hygiene purpose.
Must be able to learn and describe the food proficiently.
Must be able to communicate with the guest to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take actions to correct any problems.
Correctly post all sales
Ability to use Micros and understand all features available.
Accept proper payment according to the invoice.
In case of cash payments, ensure to receive and return accurate amount.
Maintain a clean and orderly restaurant during service.
Know how to verify the customer's age in order to find their eligibility for the consumption of alcohol beverages.
Prepare a requisition for all items necessary to bring the restaurant inventory back to par stock level after service.
